I think I made every single face he made right along with him. It almost made me tear up. He is so sweet.
I am thinking of you guys often. It is a tumultuous time with a brand new babe. It is such a cliche, of course, but it passes so quickly, like a blur really. That's true for the good and the bad stuff. I recall feeling like time had stopped and the universe telescoped into our apartment. It felt like the whole world had changed. I guess it, really. At least for us.
I hope it continues to go well. Best of luck with the breastfeeding too. I had an easy time with Molly, but Finny was a challenge. If I didn't know how good it COULD be (remembering how it was with Molly), I would have given up on Finny. I am glad I didn't, since things improved. It took a couple months, though. That patience is a lot easier to maintain when it is your second baby and you sort of know what to expect (although geez, are they ever all different!). I am sending you all my positive thoughts cross-continent.
